Rob Thomas and Tina Majorino 9/25 teleconference with Bloggers

Yeah that was not one of my finer moments. Oops.

Do you mean when you asked if you should hit pound? That was not your fault. There was a bit of dead air before you asked it. Damien should have jumped in, before that. He had quite a bit of trouble with your blog name, too. I think you and Rae of Ramblings of a TV Whore (which Damien read as "Rambling Sofa TV Whore") ought to have a bungled-name-victim competition. Since you were one of the bloggers who participated, I'll ask you, there are some bloggers I was unable to locate. Do you know who they are? I hate to leave them uncredited. Also, do you mind having your blog linked to, in the transcript? When I wrote it up, I thought it was only fair, but then I thought about it, and wondered if people would mind. Live Journals feel a little different than the other blogs, for some reason.

Your questions were good. I am particularly glad you asked Tina about the Veronica-Mac friendship, because that's become one of my favorite parts of the show. Veronica was so isolated from female companionship in season one. Meg and Mac seemed to be the only women she even respected, and then Meg died. If Mac hadn't been in Veronica's life, Veronica would have been leader of the boys club, because she sure wasn't going to get too too close to Jackie.

I also was glad you asked the question about artists. I am of two minds on that. I got a kick out of Courtney singing "Love Hurts," and Britt Daniels singing "Veronica," but the karaoke premise made me cringe a little. What about you?

Wow. I never saw that you replied to this (just happened on Vox again recently and saw this was a recent comment-- ha!). Or may I did and forgot about it. Anywho. I am here now. Yes, I'm fine with my blog linked. Not sure about the unidentified bloggers, sorry.

I'm glad you liked that I asked about Veronica and Mac. Veronica and Mac are two of my favourite female characters ever (right up there with Peyton Sawyer from the otherwise dreadful One Tree Hill).

As for the music, I found it hilarious, but when there's only so much time to convey a whole world (and plant mystery clues), just maybe it's best to take out the karaoke however lighthearted the scene may be, which can be needed. Lol.
